Wondering where I disappeared to?

Life got busy. My children grew up. Buster the Schnauzer lived a wonderful life and passed away in the summer of 2022.

At this moment in time and space, I’m still working as a content strategist. Now, I take Stevie the cockapoo to work with me. She’s not Buster but that’s okay. She’s a wonderful Stevie. Actually, that’s a fib. She’s an undisciplined nightmare and Winnie the cat loathes her. But she’s super happy and she lives life with abandon – so I’m sure I’ll learn lots from our years together.

I’m a real-life author now! Making Words Work: A Practical Guide To Writing Powerful Content is available on Amazon in paperback and ebook formats. And soon it will be an audiobook! If you create any sort of online content, professionally or personally, I think it’s a solid resource. And I tried to make it light and interesting (which is challenging when you’re writing about writing, as opposed to writing about kids and dogs and wine drinking).

I also put out a fortnightly (every second Wednesday) newsletter called “Writing and Other Stuff”. It’s filled with writing tips, content ideas, and my general ramblings about life. Would love to have you as a subscriber!

So that’s ME. Hope life is going well for you and yours. Maybe someday I’ll get back to this blog. Maybe I won’t. Either way, I’ll likely keep the site open because I’m amazed how popular many of the posts are. So long as there are middle-aged women drinking wine and dealing with family life, there’ll be an audience.😂

Cheers,

Kim
